Logline
Two long time friends spend one last night together before the other leaves for good, confessing to each other all that was left unsaid and what could have been.
Character Descriptions
[MIA] 18 to 30 years old, Caucasian female, lead female role. After a lifetime of living in a small town Mia’s ready to get out. She’s not quite sure what her life will be. She’ll figure it out. She’s whip smart and not afraid to show it. She calls very few people her friend and Derrick is even more special to her. Even though she’s leaving he’s the one person she’ll miss.
[DERRICK] 18 to 30 years old, Black/African American male. Derrick’s a gentle soul with a profound love for his hometown. His loyalty knows no bounds. He’d drive thirty minutes out of his way to see a friend. He relies on Mia to be his voice of reason. They looked out for each other in the small town growing up. This night is his one last chance to confess his infatuation to Mia.
